open my integration apps via url
Adamaa Faal
<p>Hi, </p>
<p><span>After implementing IPSE , I would move directly to an integrated application ( .../iportal/apps/****) .<br>
I lost a bit on the files to edit.<br>
I wish I had something like : (...</span><a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='
http://localhost:8700/iportal/getfolderitems.do?userid=****&password'>/iportal/apps/****/getfolderitems.do?userid=****&password</a><span>=****)</span></p>
;
<p>Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>You can access Information Console via URL with username and password (via userid= and password=), but that is <strong>not </strong>recommended for production use since it will expose user's credentials.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>InfoConsole URL examples:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>.../iportal/apps/myApp/?userid=auser&password=apassword</p>
<p> </p>
<p>.../iportal/dashboard?conf=/Dashboards/Sales.dashboard&userid=buser&password=bpassword</p>
<p> </p>
<p>.../iportal/executereport.do?__vp=Default%20Volume&__executableName=%2FApplications%2FSales_Reporting%2FReport%20Designs%2FSales_Monthly.rptdesign&__requesttype=immediate&__format=PDF&invokesubmit=true&myParm1=8/30/2016&userid=cuser&password=cpassword</p>

<p>Hi clement, </p>
<p> </p>
<p>I have already implemented the iPortal Security Extension (IPSE) that allows me to pass a authuser and authpassword different from the user and password of ihub like in the example in Github.</p>
<p>
I want to connect directly to one of my ihub applications (for example: Applications/app1) via the url:</p>
<p>
... Iportal/getfolderitems.do?Userid=authuser&volume=Default%20Volume%&password=authpass</p>
<p> </p>
<p>i can not do : .../Iportal/apps/app1/getfolderitems.do?Userid=authuser&volume=Default%20Volume%&password=authpass </p>
<p>to access to app1. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>i have an error 3072 : The specified file / folder is not found , or you are not authorized to access it.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>how to open it directly my app1 by url that is my question?</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Thanks you.</p>

<p>It is possible to code the IPSE so that you have both authentication mechanisms available.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>You can have an additional URI parameter or a cookie to detect that the standard login mechanism is used. In this example, we are looking for the "__sso" parameter to use single sign-on. You could code it to do the opposite as well -- assume SSO and have a flag to enable the standard mechanism.</p>
<pre class="_prettyXprint">
public boolean authenticate(HttpServletRequest httpServletRequest) throws AuthenticationException {
// Check if the __sso parameter exists in Form POST or GET
String encrypted = httpServletRequest.getParameter("__sso");
if (encrypted == null || encrypted.equals("")) {
// Check if the __sso cookie exists
for (Cookie cookie : httpServletRequest.getCookies()) {
if (cookie.getName().equals("__sso"))
encrypted = cookie.getValue();
}
}
// if we didn't find the __sso parameter or cookie, assume standard login
if (encrypted == null) {
username = httpServletRequest.getParameter("userid");
password = httpServletRequest.getParameter("password");
volume = httpServletRequest.getParameter("volume");
volumeProfile = httpServletRequest.getParameter("__vp");
// the __sso parameter or cookie was found, so decrypt it accordingly
} else {
try {
SSOUser ssoUser = SSOToken.decrypt(encrypted, false);
username = ssoUser.getUsername();
password = ssoUser.getPassword();
volume = ssoUser.getVolume();
} catch (SSOException e) {
throw new AuthenticationException("Could not decrypt SSO Token: " + encrypted, e);
}
}
return true;
}</pre>
