What version of iHub are you using? It's possible, you'll need to modify a core product JavaScript file that is not recommended.

For example, for iHub 3.1, under …\BIRTiHub\iHub\web\iportal\iv\viewer

It’s feature5446.js. You can use Notepad++’s pluginJSTool to make it look readable.

After line 37 (var J = G.exportReportOptions;), you can set the default to Excel:

G.defaultFormat = "xlsx";

It's a JavaScript file, so you'll need to clear your browser's cache to test changes.

What version of iHub are you using? Doesn't look like 3.1 or 3.1.1.

What you can do is:

1. Open up the FeatureDefintion.js file.

2. Look for "ExportReportDialog"

You'll see a mapping to the .JS file for your version. For example, in 3.1, there's an entry:

"ExportReportDialog" : "/feature5446.js",

Then, you can make a copy of the associated .JS file before making any changes.
