Creating subdirectories under Data-type/Data

Is it possible to create subdirectories under the templatedata/data-type/data directory? I tried creating one and got the following message when trying to save a DCR under it:

"Cannot set location to /intranet/main/......Data/Compliance. It is not in /intranet/main.../Data"

Has anyone encountered this before?

I created sub folders under templatedata/category/data-type/data and I didn't face any problem. I think you are aware of the following data storage structure
templatedata/category/data-type/data -- Correct
templatedata/data-type/data -- Not Correct

Pls verify and try again.

If I understand your question correctly you have created subdirectories in the data folder. Then, when a user attempts to save a dcr in the newly created folder, you get an error message. correct?

Check the capitalization on the directory path. The save is case sensitive. Your "data" is "Data"

Data needs to be lowercase (probably Templatedata as well). I noticed your Data is upper case.
