I cant create any data source, why?

Am having errors creating data sources
This is the response I got in all the connectors:
 
"Error establishing connection"
"Unable to create connection - Connection refused: connect"
 
What do I do?

This error message is from the Big Data Analytics (BDA) tool, and not from BIRT.

I resolved that but the issue i have now is. I imported a file from excel but i couldn't proceed from there. See screenshot.
The data are not appearing at the "My Data" segment. What do I do?

Please there seem to be so many issues setting up birt. Please Can I create a sunburst and block (column) chart with birt? Am currently evaluating birt for my company if it can perform the functions we need.
