Upgrading to DD5.6 from 5.5.2
System
Currently, I'm running DD 5.5.2 with DAS and doing research into an upgrade to DD5.6 - however, looking at the DataDeploy Release Notes (pg12) it says to drop the following tables IWTRACKER, IWOV_IDMAPS and IWDELTRACKER. This leads to the question - what does one do with the existing metadata in those tables? In looking at the documentation if one is running DAS since the table convention has changed (I'd be curious how it changed)
the old data it appears is useless.
Has anyone had any issues with the 5.6 versions of DD and OD
Thanks

If you are planning to upgrade to this release of DataDeploy from any of the following previous
releases:
• DataDeploy 4.5.1
• DataDeploy 5.0
• DataDeploy 5.2
• DataDeploy 5.2.1

Actually, I thought the documentation was wrong because
I'd never seen versions
DataDeploy 5.2
DataDeploy 5.2.1
listed in anything besides this manual - I thought it was 5.5 and 5.5.1 - so I need not worry about deleting my tables?

TeamSite 5.5.x introduced a new multi-store capability, which impacted the DAS table naming conventions. DD 5.5.x and higher work with TeamSite 5.5.x. Earlier versions of DD (5.2.1 and earlier) support the old table naming conventions and do not work with TeamSite 5.5.x.
So an upgrade from DD 5.5.x to DD 5.6 should be straightforward and not require dropping tables.
Similarly, upgrading form OD 5.5.1 to 5.6 should be straightforward.
