Hi bcmp,
 
The LSTailer.exe service is the service that tails the iHub logs to collect and aggregate data. This is used in tandem with the Logging and Monitoring Server. The main component is the use of these two services in System Console for the monitoring reports.
 
jk_nt_service.exe is part of the embedded Tomcat used with System Console.

LSTailer: Monitors all log files on an iHub node, digests their contents, and forwards alerts and errors to the LMServer process. Also known as the agent service in the System Console user interface.
jk_nt_service: an executable that wraps the Tomcat servlet container and executes it in the background as an NT service
