different Performance between eclipse.exe and tomcat 7

<p>Hi everybody,</p>

<p>I need your suggestions or ideas.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>We have build a cross tab report with dynamic background colors. The reports works very well.</p>
<p>If we run the report directly from eclipse designer as web viewer, then the report run very fast.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>If we start the same report from the report runtime engine (tomcat 7), then the report run very slow. The difference is more then half as long.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>We use the same database, same parameters.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Do you have any ideas, what could be the issue of this? Could I run the report outside of the eclipse designer without using tomcat?</p>

<p>problem is solved. It seems it depends on the version. We have updated from runtime 3.7, to 4.6 and now it works without performance problems</p>
