WebDesk Unowned GroupTask Performance Problem

If there is an unowned GroupTask and I am a member of the group the task is shared to, WebDesk takes about 30 seconds to refresh. If I take ownership, WebDesk refreshes in just a few seconds.

Any ideas? TeamSite 5.5.2SP2b
