Assigning Background Color to the Axes in Bar Chart in Eclipse BIRT

<div><span style="font-family:'courier new', courier, monospace;">I have a requirement to assign background colour to the X and Y-axis in Bar chart in eclipse birt. </span><span style="font-family:'courier new', courier, monospace;">please find the attachment 'ExpectedResult' for reference.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-family:'courier new', courier, monospace;">I tried doing the following Changes in the Chart, but had no luck </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family:'courier new', courier, monospace;">In the format chart section of chart, in the plot area I assigned Orange Background colour to area including axis and marked white background to area with in axis. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family:'courier new', courier, monospace;">In Area format section , for Area including axes, mentioned Insets as '0'. please refer to the attachment 'Result' for report output.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-family:'courier new', courier, monospace;">Is it possible to assign background color to axes through scripting ? If so, Please provide me the example for the same.</span></div>

<p>You can do it in the UI via the Insets (points) under the Area Format. See attached screenshot from my test.</p>
