ThemesReportItems31.rptlibrary
Jeremy Beta

Dear iHub community

I can't find ThemesReportItems31.rptlibrary in any folder. If I create a new report then it appears in the list of libraries but not within the folder structure.

Please can you tell me where to download it from, or if it is hardcoded and does not appear as a separate file.

Screen shot attached.

Thanks and kind regards

Have you checked the local installation of Analytics Designer?

For example, for version iHub 16.0, check under:

C:\OpenText\AnalyticsDesigner\AnalyticsDesigner\plugins\org.eclipse.birt.resources.actuate_23.2.0.v201604061009

Or for version iHub 16.0.1, check under:

C:\OpenText\AnalyticsDesigner\AnalyticsDesigner\plugins\org.eclipse.birt.resources.actuate_24.0.1.v201610120215

Then, you can copy it to the root of you project folder for modification.

Thank you. I found the 16.0 RecurringGraphic library.I have a suspicion that I have managed to corrupt the libraries. When I try to run one of the graphs, I now get the error (attached) 'The library with the namespace "RecurringGraphic" is not found. The theme "Modern" used by Report Design is not found'. This is even though the RecurringGraphic library is in the Outline. Please can you help? Thank you.

More info will be needed to help troubleshoot this issue.

1. In the bottom left pane (default), in the Project Navigator tab, what files are in the root of your project? Or do you have a "Report Libraries" subfolder?

2. In the upper right pane (default), in the Resource Explorer tab, under Shared Resources, do you see your 'RecurringGraphic' library?

3. If you look at the XML Source of your .rptdesign, and check the top section, what do you see in the 'libraries' section?

Example default .rptdesign from iHub 16:

...
<list-property name="libraries">
<structure>
<property name="fileName">/ThemesReportItems31.rptlibrary</property>
<property name="namespace">ThemesReportItems31</property>
</structure>
</list-property>
...

4. In the pane from your latest screenshot (of the Outline view), can you right click on 'RecuringGraphic' and select 'Remove Library'?

Hi Clement

I have answered your questions below. I am seeing less problems in the other reports, but still a similar one in the report described below. This makes me think that somehow I am affecting the settings as I experiment. Sorry, my knowledge is rather hazy about this part of BIRT! I have the book Integrating and Extending BIRT but haven't managed to understand the interaction between libraries, themes and graphs.

Kind regards

Jeremy Beta

1.
Sorry, I wasn't sure if you were still having an issue or not after removing the library. If so, it would be best to contact Support so that you can have them on a remote troubleshooting session to diagnose your issue deeper, and attempt to find the root cause.
