Template-based email

Hi. I want to develop some workflows with template-based email notification. But I dont find any documentation on this. I found a PDF document on the Technical documents but it is not sufficient for a start-off. Can anyone help me how to start with this? I've queries like how to map usernames with email addresses, etc.

Actually the tech note on Template Based Email is quite good at getting you started on implementing it. It does talk about mapping usernames to email addresses using .../iw-home/local/config/wft/solutions/email_map.cfg. It, like just about everything else in workflow, requires a certain amount of technical knowledge in order to understand an implement. The documentation is sufficient to get started.

Thanks. Iam going thru the document again...Does it use e-mail server configuration from iw.cfg?

I believe it uses the maildomain and mailserver that is in iw.cfg. but I'm not positive. It makes sense to set those calues anyway - it can only help.
