<p>If you are have deployed the BIRT as separate deployed viewer and wanted to protect the parameter name & values in the BIRT URL then ..</p>
<p>what you can do is</p>
<p>encryt the url parametername&value in your jsp or where ever you are preparing the URL to call the BIRT report.</p>
<p>eg:
http://localhost:8080/BirtViewer/frameset?__report=gnome/Revision_status.rptdesign&_op=4f1fa639435dfa34e&__overwrite=true&__showtitle=false</p>
<p>decrypt it indise the BIRT beforeFactory ,</p>
<p> </p>
<p>you can create your own encryption module or (you can try QueryCrypt) for both encryption and decryption</p>
<p>you can use javascript function to strip the parameter and value and assign .</p>
