Build professional looking Charts with BIRT Chart Da Vinci
Keith Howard
Chart Da Vinci
is a programmatic interface to the BIRT Chart API providing report developers with an easy to use
technique for building and customizing charts.
<br />
All the popular chart customizations such as palette colors, line colors, fonts and chart area colors, are defined in
simple arrays. A single function call passes your requirements to the BIRT chart engine which builds your chart.
<br />
<br />
Built in settings paint a good looking chart without any customization. Extra features including back wall stripes and
multiline labels add a professional look to your charts.
<br />
<br />
<br />
Over 75 sample charts are provided in the gallery report. Cut and paste any chart into your report, then simply set
the chart data portion to access your data. Use the chart as delivered or add your own customizations by altering
the settings in the chart arrays.
<br />
<br />
<br />
A full specification of the array settings is provided in the User Guide.
<br />
<br />
Chart Da Vinci runs in both Open Source and Professional BIRT report designers.
