DataSet Table Data in MasterPage Header

This example shows how to create a HTML table in your dataSet script to be able to display data from your dataSet in your masterpage header/footer.<br />

In this example, a variable is first initialized in the initialize event to store the HTML table in. Then, in the dataSet, scripting is used to grab data from the dataSet in the onFetch event and to build the HTML table. Finally, in the masterpage header, a text box bound to the dataSet you're getting data from is used to display the HTML table. In PDF output, the masterpage header/footer height must be set to accomodate the table height.<br />

This report was made in 2.6.1, but the idea probably applies to most, if not all, previous versions of BIRT. I just didn't test it in them.
