BIRT Custom Difference Functionality Example

This example BIRT report shows how to keep the difference across the columns of a row in a crosstab. This is not a standard feature of a crosstab, so you have to keep track of the last value in each row yourself and compute the difference. This example shows how to do so using persistentGlobalVariables and javascript in a text control in the crosstab.<br />

This report design was created in BIRT 2.6.1. This same idea can be used in all BIRT versions with crosstabs, though.
