When embedding a chart specific to a group, it's nice to be able to personalize the chart title to that group. One way you can do this is by grabbing the value you want in a PersistentGlobalVariable in the outer table's group header's onRender script with the following code:
reportContext.setPersistentGlobalVariable("chartTitle", row["rowYouWantAsTitle"])

Then, to set the chart's title to what you want from the table, you'd put script like the following in your chart's script area:

chart.getTitle().getLabel().getCaption().setValue(title);
