ContentServices SDK 2.0

hi,
Two queries:
1. ContentServices SDK 1.0/1.1 do not have the search service implemented, according to documentation, will 2.0 have this facility?
2. Will SDK 2.0 be backward compatible with TeamSite 5.0/5.5? The Teamsite 6.0 is architecture is going to based on SDK2.0.

1. No, CS 2.0 will not have this facility. Interwoven's search solution is undergoing some work currently, once that is complete, CS 2.0 like interfaces will follow.
2. CS 2.0 is not designed to work with TS 5.0/5.5 (the server components it needs cannot be separately installed from TS 6.0). As per backwards compatibility, CS 1.1 (which was used for TS 5.5.2) will continue to work with TS 6.0.

Hi Shiv,

1) CS 2.0 does not provide search capabilities. Enhanced search is being addressed in upcoming releases from Interwoven. When it has reached a fairly mature state we will provide CS APIs for the functionality.

2) CS 2.0 will only work with TS 6.0 and later. It is not compatible with prior releases. CS 1.1 is supported with TS 6.0 for existing implmentations all that is required is a minor point update: CS 1.1.1.
