Embed a BIRT report in a JSP to allow dynamic change of parameters at runtime all on a single screen

Even though this guide shows how to create a report over Maximo it is equally applicable to any application that you are reporting over. Part one of this guide is available in Devshare for part two we are going to look at how to embed your reports into a JSP and add parameter selections to the header of the page so as far as the user is concerned it will look like they make a selection or enter a paramter value such as a purchase order number and instantly see the details displayed on the same page - no additional pop-up parameter boxes!<br />

We also look at how to change the background colour of the tool bar and navigation bar of the BIRT report, so that the colour scheme fits better with the rest of the report and how to add a branding image into the report header.<br />
