Resize Bar Chart Based on the Number of Bars

This example shows how you can use chart scripting to check the number of bars that will be in the chart and then resize the chart accordingly. A minimum chart size is set so that if there are very few bars, the chart won't cut off needed information. A maximum size is also set so that the chart will always fit onto your page. This report was designed in BIRT 3.7.0, but the concept should work with all BIRT versions.
