Group Page Numbering

This example shows a way to have group page numbering within a grouped table. The example uses persistent global variables in the onCreate script of the detail and group footer rows to keep track of group page numbers. Then, in the onRender of a text box in the masterpage footer, the page numbers for the different groups are recalled from the persistent global variables and the page n of m text is built.<br />

Note: All of the groups are 1 page except for the last group (USA). So, you will see page 1 of 1 on all except the last group.<br />

This report was designed in BIRT 2.3.2, but the concept will probably work in all versions. In 2.5 and above, you can probably use page variables to do this with a little more ease.
