The attached report shows two different ways to add "continued..." to a title label in your masterpage after the first page. The first way, the one that is in the header of the masterpage, should work for all versions of BIRT. A dynamic textbox is put in the masterpage header with "Orders Report" as the text. In the onRender of this element, the following code adds continued after page 1.

The second way will only work if using 2.5 or above when report/page variables were added. This way is demonstrated in the masterpage footer. A page variable is first created with the default value of "Orders Report". In the masterpage, the variables auto-text element is dropped into the footer and the report title variable is chosen from the list of available variables. In the onPageStart event of the report, the following code changes the value of the variable so that continued is displayed after page 1.
