Is interwoven planning a TeamPortal implementation for sun one portal? If so, when can it be expected?

Yes, there is an integration. Which version of the portal are you interested in? Have you done any work with SunOne Portal?

There is also a reference implementation with SunOne portal search and our Metatagger product that is very nice, too.

Thanks for the info. We are using SunOne 6.0. Our specific requirement would be to allow Portal users to access DCRs from portal and do a preview from the workarea before the content is generated and pushed to the portal repositories. I would like to know whether the TeamPortal implementation for SunOne has an easy way of implementing such previews with out going in to the complexities of proxy remaps?

I haven't contacted interwoven engineers in this regard. Actually we are in the process of proposing the solution to one of our clients. We would like to have enough technical details before doing so. I searched the support site for technical documents of TeamPortal implementation of SunOne, but couldn't find any. Any pointers in this regard is highly appreciated.

We are just starting a TS6.0 and Sun ONE Portal 6.1 integration. At this stage I am gathering as much information as possible. I have spoken to IWOV PS in Australia but they seemed to believe that teamportal was only built for plumtree and a couple of other vendors, not sun.

We should keep up the informaiton exchange if your project goes ahead.

I am also based out of Australia and currently doing a TeamPortal implementation using Plumtree Portal Server. Please do share what kind of help / information we can share so that we have a solution for TeamPortal for SunOne Portal. Also Paul from Interwoven has said he has some solutions for SunOne Portal. may be we can get in touch with hime for some solution he is talking about?

We still haven't gone ahead with the project. I will keep you informed if we start something on it. The info i got from iwov engineers was that they are in process of implementing TeamPortal for sun one. You may contact them for the updated information.
