iwattrib -o objid attribute
System
Hi,
I'm experimenting a little bit with teamsite and I've come up with some strange behavior of the iwattrib CLT.
For example, if I do:
iwattr vpathtofile objid
I get it's object id, then i do
iwattr -l -o objid (with the previously returned one)
I get the list of attributes available for this object, now if I try:
iwattr -o objid attribute
I always get
ERROR:02009: Could not locate specified object
No matter which objid I use, no matter which attribute I query. It does scream if the objid is "non-valid" though.
I do not want to enter on the debate on how I could accomplish the same thing I'm trying to do without using the objid but the vpath instead. I just want to know, is this a bug of my build?? did anyone had the same problem?? are the dox not clear enough (once again) for this CLT ??
My environement:
Windows 2000 Server with latest SP
iwserver: 5.5.2 Build 11020 Interwoven 20020823
Thank you people!!!

I just tried this on a 552 SP2b system with a server patch on Win2K SP3
and was not able to reproduce your problem.
For example:
> iwversion
iwserver: 5.5.2 Build 17879 Interwoven 20030320
> iwattrib /default/main/wfstress/WORKAREA/wfstress-conflict/conflict.txt objid
0x000010083e8cf37e4000082c
> iwattrib -l -o 0x000010083e8cf37e4000082c
cid
objid
crdate
[...]
> iwattrib -o 0x000010083e8cf37e4000082c mutated
FALSE
As far as I know, nothing in the SPs or patches would have affected this functionality, but making sure you're up-to-date probably won't hurt.
Good luck and I hope this helps somehow!
