trying to debug iwproxy_plugin_remap

wmh

I am trying to debug the include statements and the iwproxy_plugin_remap. But I can not locate a iw_isapi.log

The is on a TS 5.5.2 Sol box and the iw.cfg entry is
[iwproxy_plugin_remap]
_debug=true

thanks..
Marty

Im not sure about Sol but on windows it was in c:\temp

I'm thinking for Sol \var\tmp or something similiar.

I think I found the location in the admin guide or the relase notse some where in the IW Docs

No luck...
I've done a find with no results. I don't believe the log is being written.

this earlier post references the apache log files as being in /var/...

just an idea...

TeamSite Administration Guide, Unix, 5.5.2, p. 104
If you want to debug regular expressions, set the value for _debug in the [iwproxy_plugin_remap] section to true. On NES and Apache, debugging information is stored in the Web server error log file. This log file can grow extremely large over time.

assuming (as others did) that you use Apache webserver, you could try checking the conf/httpd.conf file (in the apache folder, could be anywhere) and find out where the error log is being saved (could be anywhere). (i.e. find the ErrorLog and CustomLog settings; there might be multiple if you use virtualHosts)

I guess I should have stated the entire environment.

We are using iPlanet on this server.
