browser tree customization on webtop

I want to define a folder tree doesn't exist in workspace under the home cabinet,just by some rules,you can see the picture in the attachments,the

folders in the picture don't real exist in the workspace ,just we designed as

our imagination,it is a result picture.and the folders are virtual in my mind.

can this be finally realized? and anyone who can give me help

for example:

6225-AASG-GDK0_000_1925_CT_G_4015-A

when we find this file in workspace,we will click A>A>SG in turn,and the file will list in below.

but now I want to find it on webtop in another way,we will find it by clicking

G>CT>,and then all files' name contains "_CT_G" will be display on the

right area(workarea,on right frame),but in fact,G,CT folders don't exist in workspace at all. The other folders in the picture are the same mean.

Hi Guit,

I am assuming that you know the basics of customization of browserTree component.if not look at Tree Control Part 1,2,3 in emc developer site.

the below website gives u configuring eclipse with wdk.

Follow the steps below :

1.copy the homecabinetnode.java from webcomponent directory to custom directory.

2.create a class some thing like mytree.java which should extends BrowserTree class(Refer Tree Control Part 1,2,3)

3.modifiy the query in the homecabinet node based on ur requirments to display folders in left pane(browsertree).

1.the query in addFolders method is for displaying parent folders

2.There will be a function queryFolders in homecabinet node which u can use to create sub folders of parent folder.

4.refer the mytree.java class in the browsertree_componen.xml file which is in custom directory like

<class>mypackagename.subpackagename.myTree</class>.

5.copy myfilesclassicview.java ,MyObjectService.java,myobjectquery.java,myobjects.java class files in webcomponent directory to custom directory.

u can see a query in MyObjectService.java(use this code to display documents in the right pane which matches folder)

copy myobjects_list_component.xml component from webcomponent directory to config directory in

custom directory.

copy myfiles_classic_compoent.xml from webtop to config folder.include the extends attribute

in the component id like extends="myobjects_list:/custom/config/myobjects_list_component.xml">

6.copy the myobject_list_body.jsp ,myfiles.jsp and myobjects_list.jsp to custom directory.

refer myfiles.jsp,myfilesclassicview.java in myfiles_classic_compoent.xml

refer myobjects_list.jsp,myobjects.java in myobjects_list_component.xml

7.pass values from onClickTree function of your customized mytree.java to the query in MyObjectService.java.

Rename every files mentioned above based on ur requirements.
