Documentum app on Websphere.

Hello,

I developed and support a DFC-based app running on websphere.

Current environment: DFC 5.25, WAS 6.0, Win2003 server, ISS, JRE 1.5, JVM 1 Meg memory, approx 500 concurrent users, about 2 Million documents.

Future environment (< 6 months) DFC 6.5

My production environment JVM has currently experienced a few Out Of Memeory errors and I'm getting ready to run a detailed memory analysis to look for leaks.

Our app allows wildcard searches and I suspect they may be responsible for part of the problems.

I do want to make sure my configuration settings are as optimal as possible.

Would anyone have any suggestions regarding configuration settings, either on the JVM or specific Documentum parameters.

I realize this is a broad question, but I can be more specific if you think you can help.

This article is made for BEA Weblogic, but the JVM options part is independent of the current appserver...

I suggest try to port your application to DFC 5.3, and you will be able to enable diagnostic options in dfc.properties file (dfc.resources.diagnostics.enabled=true) which addresses the problems you are facing.
