I deployed emc-dfs.war on tomcat server.when i go back and check for the available services on tomcat admin console i got error saying that the emc-dfs services not available. plz help if any configurations needs to be done.-thanks.

Which version of DFS are you using. 6.0 & 6.0 SP1 do not support tomcat, but 6.5 does.
If you have a .war file my guess is that you may have 6.5, if so did you
a. follow the tomcat specific instructions in the deployment guide, page 22.
b. what errors are in the tomcat logs?, is any?
I know that it works as I have done this, but one thing to remember is that you may need to alter the JVM parameters for Tomcat, which are in the WDK/Webtop deployment guides.
Tomcat is not supported, just check DFS release notes. Anyway, originally it's an ear file, how did you get it to be a war file?
