IDfWorkitem.setPerformers

Hi ,

I have the following problem and i hope that someone can help me with it,

in my application i call the function IDfWorkitem.setPerformers to set the performers of the next activity, this function works correctly if the user calling the function is a superuser,

i changed the user to be a normal user and gave him RELATE permission and EXECUTE PROC extended permission on the workflow template, then i tried my code but it didn't work, it gave me the following exception "DM_WORKFLOW_E_NO_ACCESS: This user does not have the permission to perform the current operation on object'xxxxxxxxxxxx' , the id supplied in the message is the id of the workflow task, when i tried to set the performers from the webtop on the same workflow task it worked !!

so if the problem was some missing permissions the user don't have then this should not work from either my application nor the webtop!!

any one have any suggestions??

You must be set the workflow permission.

First create an ACL such as ACL_WORKFLOW with ownership the user that have the same names of the docbase (ES: MY_DOCBASE_NAME). So give releate permession for user that you want have a workflow access.

Second use this select on a dql client : update dm_process object set acl_name = 'ACL_WORKFLOW',set acl_domain='MY_DOCBASE_NAME' where object_name='MY_WORKFLOW_NAME'
