no docbase found when installing WP 6.5 Server Files

Hi,

I have successfully upgraded Content Server 6.0 SP1 to 6.5 and installed WP 6.5 and I am just trying to install WP 6.5 Server Files.

When I run the installer (wPServerWinSetup.exe) and get to the step where it says "Please select a docbase and log in as a docbase owner or super user"...

It does not show my repository in the list, the list is blank! If I attempt to click next it give me a message than says "The component does not currently exist. Please select Create new."

The docbase and docbroker are started.

It seems that each time the installer get to that certain point (just before asking to select docbase) it deletes all content in 'C:\Documentum\dba\dm_documentum_config.txt'. This file previously held the docbase information.

Hi,

Having recently installed WP 6.5 from scratch I can say that it work for that, not as though that's much help.

Have you seen support note esg92068. what this basically says is save the correct dm_documentum_config.txt file, get to the point in the install where it shows an incorrect/imcomplete list of repositories, hit back, replace the newly blanked dm_documentum_config.txt with the previously saved correct one and go forward again.
