Configuration of richtexteditor.

Hi,

I which to change the height of the text editor in "Edit Note" page in webtop.

I have located the editNotepage.jsp file and there can I see that the tag lib component richtexteditor is used to create the text editor. There is a bunch of attributes that can be set on this component (i.e. hasCharFormatting, hasClipboard, hasFonts, hasImages, hasLinks, hasParaFormatting, hasSpellcheck, id, name, tooltipnlsid and value) but can't figure out how to change the size (height) of this component.

Dose any one know how to change the height of richtexteditor?

I got the correct answer in another forum:

The height is written in javascrip:

open <web-app name>/wdk/include/richtexteditor.js

locate controlIFrame.style.height = ...

change it.

To see the changes use Ctrl Reload (or kill your browser) If settings are set to Automatically, don't forget to clear your browser cache.

don't forget that every time you'll upgrade your Webtop deployment, your JS file will be overwritten and it will come back to the original size.

Maybe you should introduce a Change Request with EMC support so in the future, they add the attributes height and width like mose HTML/JSP/Dctm tags controls
