Is it possible to have DFC PIA installed in a preferred location and not use the System Folders?

Hi,

We are currently trying to use the DFC PIA with .NET application and our proof of concept works well for our requirements. However, the installer seems to use the Windows Root and the System Folders for storing some configuration files which is a concern for our Production Deployment. Is there a way to get around this and have all the files installed to a preferred location. Or is it possible to skip the installation process and setup a Document Runtime Environment by Manually copying over the libraries.

The line local_path = C:\Documentum\ASP in dmcl.ini tells which folder will be used by DFC.

I have a .NET that just has the PIA dll installed in the same folder as the .EXE and it seems to work fine.

But my problem is more due to the fact that in our PROD environment the OS Drive is locked down and it appears that the installer seems to use the windows directory for the following

%windir%\vpd.properties

%windir%\system32\dmcl

Is there any way to target this to a specific folder location of my choice.
