virtualization Not happening

Hi,
I have TS 5.5.2 installed on one machine and web server on another machine. so for the purpose of virtualization what are the steps I am required to take......

I have configured iw.cfg as follows:
[iwproxy_preconnect_remap]
_regex = (.*)/Production_branch/WORKAREA/Production_wa/ProductionWebApp/cms_content/wbr/faqs/content.html=http://secondhost:80/wbr/faqs/main.wnt

Now when I try to view content.html from the teamsite its supposed to redirect the request to the web server on the second machine.... but the request received by web server is something like..
/iw-mount/default/main/Production_branch/WORKAREA/Production_wa/ProductionWebApp/cms_content/wbr/faqs/content.html

It should have been http://secondhost:80/wbr/faqs/main.wnt .
Thats what the preconnect_regex in iw.cfg does, if I am not wrong... Is there any configuration to be done that performs the correct mapping from source regex to destination regex???

Is the intent that any attempt to see that specific file (content.html) in that specific workarea on that specific branch should redirect you to a completely differently named file (main.wnt) on the remote server? or were you supposed to pass the name of the original file as a part of the resultant URL (e.g. main.wnt?content.html)?

Did you remember to stop / start iwproxy after having made the changes to your iw.cfg?

If you're on Unix - did you remember to edit the *actual* iw.cfg (/etc/iw.cfg - not iw-home/etc/iw.cfg)?

Hi Fish,
The intent was to map content.html to main.wnt. All We want here is the remapped request be sent to the web server but its sending the request intact with iw-mount/default/main/Production_branch/WORKAREA/Production_wa/ProductionWebApp/cms_content/wbr/faqs/content.html

After remapping using the preconnect remap in iw.cfg the request should have been /wbr/faqs/main.wnt

I restarted TS after modifying iw.cfg..... Its on solaris.... and I changed /etc/iw.cfg only.... is there any other configuration that I am supposed to do apart from the iw.cfg preconnect remap.

When you say you restarted TS - do you mean:
(a) /etc/init.d/iw.server stop / /etc/init.d/iw.server start
(b) iwreset
(c) iwreset -ui
(d) iwreset -a
(e) something else?

If your answer is 'c' or 'd' - it should have picked up your changes. If your answer was anything else - I believe your changes would not have been picked up and therefore you are trying to debug something that isn't being run.

If you have run 'c' or 'd' - and it's still not working - the best thing to do is probably stop the iwproxy process and run it manually in debug mode to capture information that you can look over, and if need be, post (as an attachment) here.

Actually there was a blank space in the regex. Just before "=". That was the culprit.
