Request for experience with GFS / NFS / SAN which has been successful for you?

Currently we are running our content servers using Redhat GFS, it has not been a pleasent experience. Upgrading GFS is problematic, and I would like to know what other organizations are doing? I have recommended using NFS instead of GFS, other groups within the company are deadset on Veritas, it's even been suggested we utilize OCFS2.

Please let me know what has worked for you, what has not, and where you would want to be.

So 2 years latter... are you still on GFS? Are you doing multiple Content Server on one filestore? Can you elaborate a bit on the problems you had with GSF?
