Setting Directory Path For Image Upload in VF?

Does anyone know how to specify the path to my images folder for when Editors us the Insert Image (cmdmfumedia) command in the Visual Formater? Currently it justs starts them out at the very top of the document root. I can't find anything in the vfdevelopers guide or in the visualformatconfig.xml.

Any advice appreciated.

it is part of the browse element in the template. There is a ceiling-dir as well.
