Consumer development approach Documentum 6.5

Hi all,

Another help required in Documentum 6.5. More from your experience this time.

We have a requirement to upload, retrieve, version and search a document in documentum 6.5. We are considering 2 design aspects: Using the WSDL based approach where the consumers are developed using Axis2 1.5 or the productivity layer approach where documentum provides a set a jars which can be used for development. Given our requirement, I would like to know which would be a better and complete approach.
