exporting a file from eroom?

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to export a file from eroom to a location on my desktop. This file can be either a pdf, .doc, ,txt, .csv or even zip. Should I write a custom command for this? Is there any other way to export a file from eroom?

Hi Manish,

If you are using eRoom version greater than 7.2.x, default drag and drop option is available. For enabling drag and drop, to and from eRoom, eRoom plug-in need to be installed on the client machine. When you first login to eRoom from a system, you will be prompted to install the plug-in. If you skip this setup, clear the browser cache and try login to eRoom, which will prompt to install the plug-in again.

I need to do it programmatically and not from the interface .... i need to create a button on the eroom page which would export the documents out of eroom ...this typically would be a custom command written in asp. can anyone proivide me with sample code and where should i place this custom command ?
