Sent email notification problem

Hello Folks,

I built a workflow with notification. When I do execution, a message has to be sent to all users belonging to the specific group created for this purpose. Unfortunately, the message is sent not to all people in the mailing list. I checked my log file and everything seems to be correct; all needed infos are there. By the way I'm using the smtp server.

Question: How come some of users did not receive notifications? I also checked with the team responsible for SMTP server. Does somebody encountered this kind of situation?

If some of the users received and others did not AND you have already verified that all users belong to same group, then I would investigate whether the email addresses are correct OR if the emails are getting blocked.

Also, check if all receive the notification in there Documentum inbox. If the item is queued in there inbox (in docbase) but they don't receive the email notification then I would investigate the mail server logs and/or the users email address. If the users don't get the items queued in there inbox (in docbase) then it is a different problem. Maybe check the docbase log for any errors and review the Workflow process to see if there could be a problem.
