Seeing the full username in add users/groups page of DAM

Currently my users have the option of adding in new users and groups and giving them permissions to objects by clicking on the Add users/groups link in the DAM permissions panel of the properties page of an object. They are taken to a page which shows a list of users and groups in the docbase by displaying their user_os_name.

I would like to change this WDK component to display user_login_name as opposed to user_os_name. Which component should I customize to accomplish this? Is ith the userorgrouplocator component?

I did some research and discovered that those usernames might be displayed by the aclacelist component. Is this correct?

After some experimentation, I determined the page I wish to customize is the UserOrGroupLocator component.

I am trying to change the UserOrGroupLocator.java class so it returns the attributes user_login_name and group_display_name so I can display those on the page. However, when I add group_display_name to the UserOrGroupLocatorItemResultSet, I get an error saying that group_display_name is not an attribute.

Therefore, what object is the DQL querying to get a list of groups? It's obviously not dm_group. Is it dm_acl?
