can anyone provide me jar files like DFC.jar and dct.jar ............if u know any link from where i can downloads this please provide me that link.

Documentum and it's components are not free. You cannot download it without appropriate rights.
As it is written before, DFC 5.3 needs installation, but from DFC 6 and onwards it is enough to have the jars on your classpath.
You need DFC (Documentum Foundation Classes), which you can download from subscribenet (emc.subscribenet.com) if you (or your boss) have an account for that site and have access to this specific product. You also need to know what wersion do you want: 5.3 SP6, 6.0, 6.5...

Anyway, you can find these jars (and maybe more jars) on your content server in $DOCUMENTUM_SHARED/dfc (on windows C:\Program Files\Documentum\Shared). These have the same version as your content server's version.

The thing is that if you develop DFC applications, then you really need to istall DFC so you need to get your hands on the installer, in the Download Center.
If you could get to the content server install, then you should be able to get DFC as well or am I missing something ?
i m just in the stage of preparation the basics of Documentum so i dont have that much enough knowledge.
i didnt install content server in my machine i m just trying to know how can we get the jar files..othere then frm setup directory
is there anyway so that we can get the jar files from internet ...........................
