Hi,
I am installing the content server 6.5SP1 on a windows server 2003 Enterprise edition. The install owner is a local account and part of the admin group.The content server installed fine. But while configuring a new docbroker, it created the service, but while trying to start it, gives me a logon failure error. The only way i could get the service to start was to go in to the service properties and on the logon tab, i put the password again, and was able to start the service.
Questions i have are:
1. After starting the service , when i go to documentum server manager and go the broker tab, i dont see the newly started docbroker?
2. The original password that was in the Log On tab of the service was probably an encrypted password, since the number of character(or dots) that i see are more than the actual password.Will that impact anything?
3. If i try to run the config program again to say delet the newly created docbroker, i dont see it listed.
