Documentum security issue

Hello,

I am trying to add access to import documents to a particular folder in Webtop. I pull up the ACL, and have added the settings into the ACL to version, and even tried delete rights. I see the entries in the ACL, but I log in as my test user and I am unable to import. Anyone have any ideas why this would be? If the settings come up in Webtop they had to apply to the actual ACLs in Documentum right?

Hi,

Is "Folder security" turned on on your server? (look it up in the Configuration/Repository in DA) You need Write permission on the folder in which you want to import.

Folder security is turned on, attached is a screenshot of my config.

The user has write rights to the required folder.

On a side note, I created a new directory in another cabinet and added users rights to it, and they can access it no problem.

Also just as an update, when I created the directory and added the security settings it was no problem. Now after the fact I just tried to add another test user to import, and no dice.
