Documentum Administrator Security Question

Hello All,

I have question regarding user accounts in Documentum Administrator (DA).

I want to create a user account which can log on to DA, display all information (config), folders, logs, BUT who cannot change anything. I tried using the dm_browse_all group, but in this case the user cannot see the content server administration nodes.

Can anybody help me?

Addition:
If I want to extend the user's rights in the way that he can execute/stop jobs (e.g. Content Services jobs), how could I do that?

I highly appreciate your help.

Hi,

Check the users privileges through DA, you will need Superusers / System Administrator’s account to check this.

Referring Content Server Fundamentals will ne very helpful.

Keep in mind that Om's answer will basically give ALL admin rights the user configured like that

I don't think there is any easy way to do that, besides heavy customization

Probably if it is 6.5 AdminAccessSets feature in DA might help you to realize the necessary behavior.
