Event Calendar Application
System
We like to develop an Event Calendar application that allows TS user to enter event. I was thinking to have an Event DCT that contains a calendar field. But one of the requirements is to displays current month events in a calendar format, and TS user can select the event (event is hyperlink) to edit/delete the event. Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance,
Albert

top-of-my-head thoughts:
1) Consider each event as a separate DCR
2) Consider the event calendar as a composite of multiple DCRs being processed by a singular PT
3) The generated page can either be a CGI or an HTML page with javascript embedded to allow the users (when viewing the generated page) to select the date , and then have it present that date's events.
4) The URL links for each event are CCI links for editing the specific DCR associated with that event.
Not sure how easy it would be to implement the above.
Alternatively you could try to do the entire thing through FormAPI in the DCR itself:
1) DCR starts with everything hidden except the calendar widget
2) The user selects the date, and an event handler traverses through the entire DCR making visible all replicants that are associated with that date.
I have not attempted either of the above - they are just ideas that came to mind based on what you asked. Hope it helps.

Where can I find formAPI documents? We have TS but I don't see that from the TS documentation.

If you have a valid support contract, you can find the FormAPI documentation here:
