Developer Track @ EMC World 2009 Session Detail for Best Practices for EMC Documentum xDB and XML Dynamic Delivery Services
View session material below, then join us in the conversation... Traditional static web pages offer poor user experience. Do you intend to move to more dynamic, fat-client like, user interfaces for your web content delivery? Which UI technologies do you intent to use (java script frameworks such as Dojo, JSF, GWT, Flex)? Please post your thoughts below.
Static web content delivery will be rapidly replaced by user driven dynamic content delivery with fine granular control over > Content composition, > Content filtering & > Content rendering. XML seems to be the right content structure for dynamic delivery and XML standards such as XQuery and XProc (XML Processing) allow for a declarative programming model for dynamic delivery. What would be the prime business driver for you to move from static content to dynamic content delivery?
a) Better user experience on my website
b) Showing only targeted content based on user preferences
c) Context sensitive marketing
d) Eliminate unnecessary permutations of content renditions
e) Other, please specify
