How to configure File Share Services?

In my testing lab of DCTM 6.5SP1 with Content server, I have added another server and installed FSS6.5 on it.

Following P37 of the install guide, I have verified the installation of FSS component that XML file for both FSS object service and FSS remote service are

existed, eg. http://<hostname>:8888/services/core/ObjectService?wsdl

I have a look on the installation guide but not sure what should I config. on the preference files.

And then on a WinXP client, I have tried to install the FSS client.

During the installation, there are 2 steps to ask for input the URL of the server and a client port.

For the server URL, I guess it should be http://<hostname>:8888 but the default one is with 8080 port. Therefore I feel there maybe something strange.

But I have completed the installation anyway.

After the installation and system reboot, I can find the Documentum file share in windows explorer, now I find nothing in the repository inside.

Any hints for it?
