Hi All,
Currently we are on Documentum 5.3 SP4 environment and we have custom jobs in place for publishing car/truck repair guide manuals content to web application tht intern used by web portal and client application to dispaly repair information for cars and trucks. The repair guide contains xml and graphic data. We have custom jobs which import these xml and graphcs data in to Documentum and export/publishing jobs exports data from Documentum and publishes to the web application. During export process it changes file names to doc_ids and transform xml files and replace ref links with new files names etc.
We are upgrading to D 6.5 SP1 and we want to leverage Web Publisher and Site Caching Services for publishing repair guide information and other web content. My question is
- Can we change file names on fly during publishing process when I use SCS?
- During publishing process can we create new folders under publishing folder on target host?
I feel SCS doesn't support above functionalites... but it would really helpful if any one give inputs if we can achieve by writing some custom code/methods in SCS which may do our job easier.
Any inputs or info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Raju
