is there a trail version from documentum valid for 1 month or so?
No - there's no trial version. If your organisation is thinking about using Documentum then I'd suggest speaking to the EMC sales team & propose a try before you buy type thing. Good luck..
We are just announcing a free download of Documentum - check the developer network
Good news -
Free downloads now available for developers!
Hi,
Where can I find the developer version for free download?
Hi!
ECN > Developer Network > Documentum > Content Server
Hi
Download the developer copy of the Documentum 6.5 SP2 from the EMC community site. You will find the link on the very first page of the site.

There's no OOTB developer version newer thant 7.1. You can set up one by yourself, as long as you have access to Documentum downloads, by downloading DCTM 16.4 and installin it in a local VM
