Fetch PDF from a folder in docbase based on the reference number passes

Hi all,

I have a problem at hand.
I need to fetch some PDF documents from a folder,these documents contain a reference number as their attribute.Say 4 documents out of 10 documents in the folder contain the same reference number as their attribute,I need to pass this reference number as a parameter and fetch all these 4 documents(that matches this reference number) to another folder.

Could someone pls help me with a piece of Code/Logic.

The best option for you is to use a DQL which would qualify your objects based on the criteria in this case reference number.

Your query would be of the form, select <attribute_list> from <type_name> where <reference _number or whatever your attribute> = <value>.

Assuming that the reference number is an integer value.

Then you can use the method getObjectsByQuery in IDfSession to get an enumeration of objects of your type and operate on them.
