What is the minimum Hardware requirement for installing content server (D6) on windows?

Can anyone having idea about what is the minimum hardware requirement for installing D6 content server on windows machine for single user?

Please reply ASAP.

For a single user, not much really. I have the content server, RDBMS and Tomcat (with Webtop) runing on a simple laptop with 3GB RAM and a dual core processor. Nothing fancy but it is enough for dev and demoing

But I have one small doubt. I have P4 Dual Core processor with 1GB RAM and 60 GB HDD.

Will it be sufficient for installing D6 Content Server for single user?

yeap, sounds a bit short, once you've got it installed and running, your PC is going to be pretty breathless

1GB:

If you plan to install 6.0 SP*, then it's definitively not enough, it is a real memory hog
If you pan to install 6.5 S*, then it is the absolute minimum, provided you ONLY have the content server on the machine, no webtop/clients...It's still going to be swapping quite some on the drive

Memory is not too expensive anymore so I'd still strongly recommend to put some more in your PC.

Also, if you can try to separate the RDBMS and the Content server on different machines to avoid eating all your RAM and CPU all together
