Multiselector problem

Hi all

I have a multiselector where I select some values and click on add to  enter selected values. I have a datagrid with checkboxes to each row. now when i select a row and click the checkbox and click on edit button some attributes of the row are populated in the above fields. in the multiselector however i am able to populate the values. but now when i click on update button to update, the values in the multiselector are emptied and null values are inserted in to the attribute corressponding to the multiselector. but if i add or remove values in the multiselector it is inserting correctly when update is clicked. how to catch the values in the multiselector populated when edit is clicked in the update method to update when no changes been done to multiselector control................

Have you used - "populateSelectedItems" method available on MultiSelector  There are two variations of this method and hence make sure to call right method with correct parameters.

Also, in your custom code make sure updateStateFromRequest() is properly used.
